Good Morning, Readers!
Good Manners Kids Stuff Press had a busy week last week!
Ilyse Shapiro (of Let's Be Direct) sent out the press releases for "It's Time for Good Manners!" and we're starting to answer the requests for review copies and interviews it's generating. (One of the TV interviews is at 4:30 a.m. I hope the alarm works that morning.)
Emails continue to go out to township sports teams and independent clubs about our good sportsmanship book.
Wayne Readers Forum (Wayne, PA) has restocked "The Month of Zephram Mondays" and "The Kids' (and parents', too!) Book of Good Sportsmanship."
We've just been picked up by Chester County Book and Music Company (West Chester, PA).
We are working to be part of the Chestnut Hill Book Festival this July; I hope to get the paperwork soon.
Last, our table manners book is in the works, as is the second of the Zephram Tales.
On another book note: If you're looking for something to read, I really enjoyed three very different books: Sacred Hearts by Sarah Dunant; Lost by Gregory Maguire and The Spymaster's Lady by Joanna Bourne.
Happy Reading,
Leslie

It's Time for Good Manners! published, and more!
Dear Book Lovers,
I'm excited to share some great pieces of news!
First, our newest book, "It's Time for Good Manners!" just appeared on Amazon and it's now available on Barnes and Noble.com. It will also be available to other book stores (such as Borders) via expanded distribution through Baker and Taylor, and Ingram.
You can see the little picture of the book over on the side of the blog. This is a really cute book that combines teaching good manners with telling time -- because good manners happen all the time! Children will spend the day with the four characters (Torie, Tad, Tyler and Tessa) who run into opportunities to use and learn good manners all day long. The clocks are cleverly illustrated and children will love them. They also get the chance to take a pencil or crayon and color and draw the time and clock designs of their very own. Lots of practice and lots of fun. Children, teachers and parents have had a lot of really great things to say about "It's Time for Good Manners!" -- so we have our fingers crossed for good response.
Next, author Todd Fonseca (The Time Cavern) wrote a very nice review of "The Month of Zephram Mondays," which he posted on Amazon. (You can read it here, if interested.) Zephram has been picked up via expanded distribution at BarnesandNoble.com and is also going to be stocked in some Borders. (It too is available through Baker and Taylor, and Ingram.)
Last, "The Kids' (and parents', too!) Book of Good Sportsmanship" continues to be the little engine that could. For some authors and books, the following information would not be remarkable, but ...
*This afternoon it had an Amazon sales rank of 29,000. We are so excited!
*We have started with some fundraising programs and we've also been getting orders from school districts.
*And, I stopped by our local Wayne Bookstore today to find out that they had sold out all of their stock.
Many, many, many thanks to our Good Sport Fans!
That's my update for today, Dear Readers! With all your spring chores, I hope you're able to find some time to fit in some reading!
